Arapahoe/Douglas Workforce Diversity & Innovation Program

This grant-funded program connects nursing students completing their 4th or final year with a mentor to drive engagement, increase resiliency, academic performance, and graduation rates of racially and ethnically diverse nursing students, who have been impacted by COVID-19.

This program is designed to increase the diversity of the nursing workforce in Colorado. The program is for students who identify as: African, African American, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Hispanic, Asian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and/or Pacific Islander; AND who have been impacted by COVID 19.

Applicants must commit to the program for one year beginning in October 2022 to receive a monthly stipend.

Mentors are Registered Nurses with a BSN and higher degree with active RN licenses.
