The Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence has convened a simulation collaborative for individuals using simulation to educate and enhance the education of nurses and nursing students working in education and service settings.
Mission of the Simulation Collaborative
Enrich the simulation process by working together to share resources and enhance the quality of simulation in healthcare within Colorado and with inclusive national partnerships, based on INACSL standards.
Goals of the Simulation Collaborative
-Increase application of simulation in academic and clinical settings throughout the Simulation Collaborative participants.
-Improve the quality of simulation used in academic and clinical settings.
-Increase the number of CHSE and CHSOS instructors in the Collaborative.
-Simulation Collaborative members will actively participate in providing resources, continuing education, and support to the simulation community.
